Henrietta Marie (Prichard) Barr of Rolla, Missouri passed away peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the age of 79 years. She was born in Grubville, Mo. on December 1, 1938 to the late John Sylvester and Amy “Emma” Adeline Courtaway Prichard.
Henrietta was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and making things for her children and grandchildren. She loved to watch wrestling and read a good book. Her biggest passion was going fishing and being at the river. She was very proud of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and took every opportunity to brag on them. She loved spending time with her family. She was loved and will be missed.
In addition to her parents and husband Marvin Barr, Henrietta is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Ralph Prichard and sister, Mary Kathleen Asbridge.
She is survived by her brother, Neri Prichard and sister, Eileen Stern, and her children.
Henrietta was united in marriage to Alvin Drennen and to this union four children were born: Carrie Drennen-Belcher and husband Al of Eckerty, Ind., Alvin “Butch” Drennen Jr. and wife Jill of Rich Fountain, Mo., Cathy Blake and husband Tomy of Edgar Springs, Mo., James “Jim” Drennen and wife Dionne of Rolla, Mo.
Henrietta was united in marriage to Marvin Barr with this union she was blessed with his children: Randy Barr and wife Debbie of Rolla, MO, Jim Barr of Willow Springs, MO, and Barbara Medlock and husband Clint of Salem, MO.
By these unions, Henrietta was blessed with 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Fellowship services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Edgar Springs, Mo. from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for family and friends. Memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Robert Chambers at 5:00 p.m.
